In that time, he has led the implementation of a global network infrastructure servicing 1,000+ employees across five countries and 14 sites - designing, planning, and implementing a data center build-out to support 2,400 servers, and leading a team to support a global network of people worldwide.
In addition to feature film system administration and design, Lap has provided infrastructure development and maintenance for television and commercial production, and theme park ride integration and technology solutions. He’s also supervised the implementation of data center/network/server/workstation design and infrastructure, virtualization and cloud computing, production pipeline design and deployment, system administration, augmented reality, virtual reality design and management, mobile development and countless production software and tools.
